OpenIndexer is a desktop search application that provides full text search over your computer files and network drives. It also has a "backup&restore" solution to create CD/DVD archives.

Review method: I tested it and it worked as expected. It actually had some bugs in it and I had them fix it before I put it on the list.

Notes: It works only on Microsoft NT based Windows systems.
