TextMaker Viewer is a viewer that lets you read OpenDocument files, as well as other word processing formats. It's free of charge, and uses the same engine as the TextMaker word processor.

Review method: This product is untested. The information here is based on their website.
Notes: It seems to work alright. As of writing this viewer only runs on Windows, and I had to test it under wine (emulation). Under those conditions, it worked well on small documents, but crashed on large documents, but that could be a problem with wine and not the viewer.
The astute reader will notice that we gave the viewer 3 stars and the TextMaker word processor only got 2 stars. The difference is a matter of expectation. You don't necessarily expect a reader to have an export facility, but you do expect a word processor to.

Comments: There is a version of TextMaker for Linux. It would be great to see a version of TextMaker viewer for Linux as well.
It's great that TextMaker is working to support OpenDocument. We're excited about their work and wish them success.
